43rd Avenue Corridor Study
Where the City Meets the Country

Our public outreach effort will be significant. In addition to the webpage, we really encourage you to check us out on Facebook throughout the study. In general, the Facebook page is updated on a much more frequent basis. Furthermore, we also use Facebook to conduct informal polls or surveys to obtain input from you such as what you see as needs, issues, potential design applications, etc. Click on the Facebook link on the upper right-hand of the webpage to participate in the ongoing discussion about the 43rd Avenue Corridor Study.

With your input and your help, a range of designs will be developed for 43rd Avenue to safely and efficiently accommodate a range of travel needs through and within the corridor.

43rd Avenue, which is largely a two-lane rural highway through the Corridor, will need to be improved to accommodate additional travel demand (motorists, bicycles, pedestrians, transit, etc.) as the area continues to grow. The 43rd Avenue Corridor Study will identify a range of improvement measures to meet this demand.
